Reliance Industries Limited, Reliance Rural Business Hub, Proto type design & Programme module Masterplan (to be replicated in 150 Villages) – 100 Crores – 2006.

Entering the Agricultural , food and rural sector, Reliance with its model of Rural Business hub, the idea was to develop a typology of Rural and Nodal Hub. Right from Collection of Agricultural goods, local Handicrafts, Dairy Products to Banking Facilities. Adult Education, Agriculture Advisory for the local farmers, Seeds, pesticides, farm Equipment etc were all provided for under the setup.

The idea being Sustenance and fair pricing for the farmers and timely distribution to the the cities and less wastages. Also, the complex was designed like a village fair with entertainment facilities in the form of open ar theatre, foodcourts and playgrounds. A hyper mart of FMCG products meant and aimed at the rural sector formed the other attraction.
