Omaxe City Club 1

Sonipat, Haryana 2007 120000sq.ft.

With the rapid growth of the small cities in India a need for a quality recreational community space becomes an important issue. Being a traditional society the revenue generation of these public spaces largely depends on banquet facilities. These banquet spaces pose a great risk to the quality of space around as the weddings in India tend to be a loud and an ostentatious affair. So the challenge for us was to provide with adequate banquet spaces still, maintaining the privacy of other club activities.

This was derived by creating multiple courts which were shared as per the requirements. The street frontage was defined by retail spaces and terrace coffee shop adding on to the revenue model of the club. Apart from the banquet, recreational and spa facilities the club also houses a hotel of 30 rooms.
